U.S.A.    U.S.A.

I have owned the car since Nov. of 1997. I bought the car from a local dealer who had it on the lot. The car had 7,900 miles on the clock. I was not in the market for a relatively new car. But it caught my eye and I had to stop and take a look. I asked the salesman how much they were asking for the Impala SS. He said the car was sold. I said that I was not really serious anyway. I then was asked for my name and number in case the deal fell through. So I gave it to him and I went home. I received a phone call from the salesman a few days later saying that the deal in fact fell through. He wanted to know if I was still interested. Being that I had a 94 Ford Thunderbird SC I told him that I would call him tomorrow with a decision. I thought about it and I couldn't let this opportunity pass me by. So I bought the Impala :-) and sold the Thunderbird :-(.

I loved the car so much that I had to find a local club to join.

I am a member of Long Island Super Sport Team. L.i.S.S.t is a car club of 94-96 Chevrolet Impala SS. I was vice president from 2000-2002. I am also a director of the Impala SS Club of America which is a national club for the SS. My region, #11, consists of New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

The Impala SS was produced for three years and numbered only 65,602 cars in production. The car was offered in black only in 1994. In 1995-96 it was offered in Dark Cherry Metallic, Dark Green Gray Metallic, and Black. My car is Dark Green Grey Metallic and the rarest numbering 15,118 in the two years produced.
