LiSSt  4th Annual Drag Day
The day turned out to be a great one for racing!! Perfect weather with low humidity and temperatures in the low 80's. A picture perfect day. My father had brought his motorhome which had acted as a command center for the raffle & trophy prizes. There were 65 or so SS's/9C1's!! We had people there from Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Upstate New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and of course Long Island. Karl Ellwein, leader of East Coast Impala SS Racing Season, said it was the largest East Coast gathering ever.
