Indian Artifacts
A collection of local artifacts belonging to the county's first inhabitants. Artifacts were recovered from the Spring House Rock Shelter, Sloatsburg, NY and date back as far as 5000 B.C.
Satellite Image of Sloatsburg
An aerial photograph image of Sloatsburg and the surrounding area. This infrared image is used by EROS Data Center to track the earth's geological resources. The 3ft x 3ft image was donated by Mr. Michael Guerrera.
Community Room Exhibit for May - The Group of Nine Paints Sloatsburg
Back to Table of ContentsThe Group of Nine, friends who join together to paint En Plein Air, has captured the scenes of Sloatsburg through their striking impressionistic styles of painting. 28 of their paintings will be on display throughout the month. All artwork is for sale. A percentage of the artist's proceeds will be donated directly to the library. One additional painting is being raffled off with all proceeds going to the Library Tickets are on sale at the Library throughout the month of May. The drawing will be on May 31, 2009.
