This is where you can find out what's going on this week at the diner --- what the locals and regulars are up to and to get to know the customers that come into Sapphy's Grub Grab.

Marlene has worked at Sapphy's for 10 years now -- she is a favorite of everyone.  If Marlene doesn't know it -- it isnt worth knowing.

"We are originally from River City, Iowa - and Sapphy's has real down home specials - makes me feel as though someone else is cooking in my own kitchen!"  says Cate and Charlie -- weekly customers -- not a week goes by they don't stop in from their farm out on Rt 29 for a bite to eat and a chat with the neighbors.

Don't let her serious looks scare the crap out of you---Clovis is as funny as they come -- she is the Comic of the Diner --- all delivered along with the food -- with a deadpan expression.

In case you think we don't have any guys working at Sapphy's  here are a few of the popular guys --- Doobius is a fun loving and very energetic staff member ---he is currenly in college studying the Restaurant and Hotel Business.

Earline makes the best ice cream sodas and ice cream desserts ---- Tito - altho it appears that he has a halo over his head -- is not as innocent as he appears --- ask anyone -- especially Sapphy.

Clare Vance -- a new resident in town - hails from the British town of Nether Wallop -- where she was the culture maven of the village she said.   "That is DEFINITELY something we need around here -- CULTURE --- ."   Clare loves to stop in for a cuppa coffee or tea and see what's up at the diner.
