I haven’t heard the above recordings, which are said (by Kyle Gann, whose informative web site is http://home.earthlink.net/~kgann/histune.html#hist6) to be in various historical tunings. Gann lists one other recording that I haven’t been able track down on the Internet yet.

The website http://www.frogmusic.com/bt.html features CDs of works by Bach and Purcell played on synthesized organ and harpsichord in many different historical tunings. For the sake of comparison, the same piece is played on a number of different temperaments/tunings such as Equal temperament, Werckmeister I and III, Kirnberger, Valotti, Young I and II, Meantone, and Pythagorean. “To ensure that the use of the temperaments would not influence the performance of the music, the music was prepared in the form of a MIDI file by James Pressler, creator of Bach By Immersion.” I haven’t heard these recordings either.
