EXECUTIONS IN AMERICA BEFORE LETHAL INJECTION
When researching historic executions (capital punishment) I found very few while searching the web. So I developed a site called "Before the Needles" listing all 14,489 known pre-Furman executions. It is a user-friendly research source based on "The Espy Files". It also includes a few thousand lynchings that occurred in 10 southern states based on Project HAL data.
