Kombucha is a popular, health promoting, beverage which is usually made by fermenting black or green teas and sugar using a special Kombucha colony and/or fermented Kombucha tea. Kombucha has a reputation for being very good for your health, and it costs almost nothing, if you make it yourself. Most people think it tastes good-- similar to sparkling apple cider. The Kombucha Center, is a reliable informative source of information about Kombucha that describes Kombucha's history, health benefits, how to make it, where to get it and related resources. The Kombucha Center is organized into the following sections which correspond to the navigation buttons at the top of each page.

The
Kombucha Center and FAQ was originally created, in a very different
format, by Jim Sease. Later on, it was passed to Bob Williams and
Colleen Allen who then passed it to Beverly B. Ferguson. Bob Williams, writing about this site, said, "I intended this site to convey knowledge about Kombucha Tea. You will not find distracting Java applets or animated GIFs flashing at you while you are trying to read. I chose the colors to be easy on the eyes. I ask for no cookies and nothing is recorded from your visit. At least on this site your privacy is protected. :o)) Several years ago this site and the Kombucha FAQ site were together, (1995). We separated the FAQ and Colleen Allen undertook the task of writing the Kombucha FAQ. The Kombucha FAQ is a virtual online complete book about Kombucha compiled from the posts to the Kombucha List for several years and Colleen's research as well. Colleen passed on to become "Spirit Dancer" in November 2000, Bob inherited the FAQ site again. So they are back together as originally intended." |

Bob
Williams maintained the Kombucha Center and Kombucha FAQ from 2000 to
2004 when he passed on. He turned over the ownership and maintenance of
both sites to Beverly B. Ferguson in May 2004. |
