Kombucha for Skin and Hair

Many of us have found that including Kombucha in our lives has done
amazing things for our health and well-being. These benefits become
more noticeable the longer we continue to use Kombucha in various
forms such as: Kombucha tea; Kombucha Drops; and Kombucha
Products for Skin and Hair Care. These skin and hair care products
are completely natural and were never tested on animals:-))

Since 1994 many of our Kombucha Manna International customers, and
I, have been enjoying all of the Kombucha products above and we have
been very pleased with the results. This Kombucha Manna International Newsletter will share with you some of our Kombucha Manna International Skin and Hair Care "Recipes".

Kombucha Manna Skin Toner
The first Kombucha Manna International product for skin and hair care we created was our 4 oz. Kombucha Skin-Toner. It is made by taking 4 ounces of Kombucha tea that is fermented for 14 days and adding: Aloe Vera, about a 1/4 of a cup; and Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid) powder, about a 1/4 of a teaspoon;
plus a drop or two of Vitamin E oil.

You can also personalize the fragrance, and add to the benefits, by
adding a few drops of an essential oil of your choice. Be sure that
the essential oil you choose is one of the Essential Oils that is
safe for use on the skin! I recommend using genuine Essential Oils
rather than fragrance oils for this purpose.

This Kombucha Skin Toner will keep for a week or so, at room
temperature - with the cap open to allow excess carbonation to escape.
After that, it is better to replace it with a new batch. It is also
wonderful in warm weather to refrigerate the Kombucha Skin-toner and
use it as a cooling, refreshing, "Splash". Apply once or twice a day
to face and body.

Kombucha Manna Blended Beauty Masque

The second skin care product we developed was our Kombucha Manna
Blended-Beauty Masque. To make the Kombucha masque just put one of
your _extra_ Kombucha Colonies in the blender with enough Kombucha
tea to make a very smooth applesauce consistency, when blended. Add
Vitamin C, Aloe Vera, Vitamin E oil, and add a few drops of an
Essential Oil of your choice, for fragrance. I found that just a few
minutes (2-3 minutes) once a week was the right timing for me to use
the Masque. Some people use it every day. It all depends on your skin
type.

Kombucha Manna Bath Buddy

The third product we developed was our Kombucha Manna "Bath Buddy".
When I was a child, I used a lemon water rinse on my hair after
shampooing. That gave me the idea for Kombucha Manna International "Bath-Buddy"

The 16 oz. Kombucha Bath Buddy is made with 1 cup of Kombucha tea and 1 cup of water with a teaspoon of Vitamin C powder added, along with about a
1/4 cup of Aloe Vera and Essential oil-we used lemon. This not only
works as a Hair Rinse but is great added to the bath water for your
skin as well. Very refreshing:-))

The Essential oils we chose to use were: Jasmine, Sandalwood, Lemon,
& Lavender . You can use whatever is your favorite as long as it is
_safe_ for use on skin and hair.

To make it even more enjoyable; be sure to put your Kombucha product
for Skin and Hair Care in a beautiful bottle:-)) We use cobalt blue
glass bottles with snap top caps or spray caps. For the Bath-Buddy
we use plastic squeeze bottles for use in the shower or bath and also
as a hair rinse. Remember to leave the tops of the bottles open so
that excess carbonation can escape! Don't be surprised to find a
"baby" Kombucha Colony growing in your bottle after a week or so.
That is perfectly natural since the products are all natural and the
Kombucha is still living.

*IMPORTANT NOTE: If your skin is sensitive or your hair treated you
should "spot test" first to make sure that the Kombucha product you
made does not irritate your skin or negatively effect your hair
color. If a burning sensation occurs; as happens sometimes with the
Blended-Beauty Masque either dilute it more with Aloe Vera or use the
other products that are diluted instead. Do not use any of the
Kombucha products for skin and hair care if skin irritation occurs.
Keep out of your eyes.

For most people these Kombucha products for skin and hair produce
very pleasing results. Soft smooth skin and shiny hair. You might
also like to try them on acne, sunburn, poison ivy, or insect bites
etc. If you find a new use for them -or if you create a new Kombucha
