Since 1994, we have used only the finest 100% Certified Organic - Fair Trade ingredients in all of our products including Manna Green and White Tea Extract. For your health, we manufacture and bottle only in glass, never in plastic.
Manna Green and White Tea Extract is made from a variety of the finest Green and White, Certified Organic, Fair-Trade, Loose Leaf, Teas. We do not use decaffeinated teas in our products because they have between 1/3 and 2/3 fewer beneficial components for your health than less processed tea. There is very little caffeine in just 15 drops of Manna Green and White Tea Extract. White tea is usually the lowest in caffeine!
With Manna Green and White Tea Extract, you get the benefits of both White and Green Teas! We included White Tea in Manna Tea extract for its high protection of DNA and anti-bacterial properties and Green teas because they also have been shown to contain some of the most potent antioxidants and also help in weight loss. White Tea, until recently, known mostly to tea connoisseurs, may have the strongest potential of all teas for fighting diseases such as cancer, according to reasearch at Oregon State University***. They presented the first research ever on White Tea March 29th at a national meeting of the American Chemical Society. (see link at bottom of page)
White Tea comes from the same plant, Camellia Sinensis, from which both Green and Black teas are created. However, White Tea is picked from the buds and harvested before the leaves open fully, when the buds are still covered by fine white hairs.
The active constituents in both Green and White teas are the Polyphenols.
Modern research, throughout the world, has confirmed what tea drinkers have always known… both Green and White teas are good for your health! "Past studies have shown that green tea stimulates the immune system to fight disease," says Milton Schiffenbauer, Ph.D., a microbiologist and professor in the Department of Biology at Pace University's Dyson College of Arts & Sciences and primary author of the research. "Our research shows White Tea Extract can actually destroy in vitro the organisms that cause disease. Study after study with tea extract proves that it has many healing properties. This is not an old wives tale, it's a fact."
Unlike most Green tea extracts that come in capsules or powders, Manna Green & White Tea Extract comes in an easy to use liquid form. Liquid Extracts are _more easily absorbed_ than capsules and are very concentrated!
The amount of alcohol in 15 drops is probably less than that found in a piece of ripe fruit! By pouring hot water over your extract and stirring for 3 minutes, 90% of this tiny amount of alcohol will also be removed.
