Friday, September 14, 2001: Today the Lurker Lounge officially closed. This comes more as a regret then a shock to me, but nevertheless the excellent site will be missed dearly. I hope all involved, especially Bolty, the site's webmaster, find another field where they may achieve something as commendable.

Tuesday, September 11, 2001: In a shocking reminder of how the real world is often more horrific than the games we all play, major acts of Terrorism rocked the United States today, with the destruction of the twin World Trade Center towers and severe damage to the Pentagon. While I am not in the business of reporting real world news on my site, this was an event of such massive impact that I thought it worth mentioning. My thoughts and sympathies to all the victims and those who knew them.
