SPECIAL INTEREST GROUPS OF THE S.F.A.B.C. - Special Activities

The Special Activities Group of the Association meets once a month, on the weekend, and does something neat. Activities of the group have included sports (bowling and miniature golf), performances (film and theatre), shopping excursions (street fair and used bookstores), theme parties, and eating at nifty places. The idea is to have a good time going somewhere with a batch of friends.

Sharon Archer is the coordinator of activities, but anyone is welcome to suggest ideas. A list of past activities appears below.

We really wish that we could take credit for this concept, but Philip DeParto learned that this has long been an activity of the Philadelphia Science Fiction Society and thought that it was a cool idea that we could make for us, so thanks, Philadelphia guys and gals!
