Take Exit Number 2, "Alpine/Closter" from either the Parkway North or
South. Turn left onto Route 9W South. Turn right (west) at the first
traffic light, onto Closter Dock Road (Bergen County Road # 502). Turn
right at the second traffic light, onto Piermont Road (Bergen County
Road # 501). Drive north on Piermont. Pass Homans Avenue traffic light
(four way intersection). Peking Duck House will be shortly past this
intersection on your right hand side. If you hit Ruckman Road, you've
gone too far.
Cross into New Jersey from the GWB. Stay in the right lane. This will
feed you into the northbound Palisaides Interstate Parkway. Take Exit
Number 2, "Alpine/Closter" from either the Parkway North or South.
Turn left onto Route 9W South. Turn right (west) at the first traffic
light, onto Closter Dock Road (Bergen County Road # 502). Turn right
at the second traffic light, onto Piermont Road (Bergen County Road #
501). Drive north on Piermont. Pass Homans Avenue traffic light (four
way intersection). Peking Duck House will be shortly past this
intersection on your right hand side. If you hit Ruckman Road, you've
gone too far.
Take Exit #165, "Oradell Avenue/Ridgewood Avenue", from the Parkway North. Turn right and follow Oradell Avenue east. Proceed east a couple of miles and turn left at the traffic light at the intersection of Oradell Avenue and Kinderkamack Road (Bergen County Road # 503). This is not the first traffic light you encounter.
Follow Kinderkamack Road for several miles and turn right at the
traffic light for Old Hook Road (Bergen County Road #502). The
hospital sign is a useful landmark. Drive east on Old Hook Road for
several miles, passing through the reservoir, and past the light that
marks Knickerboccer Road (Bergen County Road # 505). Not too far past
Knickerboccer, 502 will turn 90 degrees to the right. You continue
straight on what is now called High Street. You cross railroad tracks.
High Street will end in a "T" type intersection with Piermont Road.
Turn left onto Piermont and proceed north. You will soon pass the
traffic light which marks the intersection of Piermont and Homans

Exit at Ridgewood Avenue, Ridgewood and proceed east. Ridgewood Avenue will turn into Oradell Avenue. You will drive over the Garden State Parkway. Proceed east a couple of miles and turn left at the traffic light at the intersection of Oradell Avenue and Kinderkamack Road (Bergen County Road # 503). This is not the first traffic light you encounter.

Route 304 South in Rockland County becomes Kinderkamack Road in Bergen
County. The road winds, but you can follow Kinderkamack south and turn

Kinderkamack Road begins in Hackensack at Route 4 near the Riverside
Square Mall. You can follow it north until you come to the
intersection of Kinderkamack and Oradell Avenue. Follow Kinderkamack
Road for several miles and turn right at the traffic light for Old
Hook Road (Bergen County Road #502). The hospital sign is a useful
landmark. Drive east on Old Hook Road for several miles, passing
through the reservoir, and past the light that marks Knickerboccer
Road (Bergen County Road # 505). Not too far past Knickerboccer, 502
will turn 90 degrees to the right. You continue straight on what is

People who know the area or are really good at following signs can
take the "Hollywood Avenue, Ho-Ho-Kus" exit on Route 17 and proceed
east on Bergen County Road #502. This eventually becomes Old Hook
Road. Drive east on Old Hook Road for several miles, passing through
the reservoir, and past the light that marks Knickerboccer Road
(Bergen County Road # 505). Not too far past Knickerboccer, 502 will
turn 90 degrees to the right. You continue straight on what is now
called High Street. You cross railroad tracks. High Street will end in
a "T" type intersection with Piermont Road. Turn left onto Piermont
and proceed north. You will soon pass the traffic light which marks
the intersection of Piermont and Homans Avenue. Go straight. The
Peking Duck House will be shortly past this intersection on your right
hand side. If you hit Ruckman Road, you've gone too far. This trek is
recommended only for the stalwart adventurer.
