SPECIAL INTEREST GROUPS OF THE S.F.A.B.C. - Author Discussion Group

The S F A B C Author Discussion Group meets on the third Tuesday of the month at Borders Books & Music, Garden State Plaza (at the junction of Routes 17 & 4), Paramus, New Jersey (201) 712-1166. It meets at 8:00 PM in Borders' Cafe.

(This group previously was meeting at Borders in Wayne, New Jersey, but moved to Paramus in July 1998. The date has changed from the fourth Tuesday to the third Tuesday of the month.)

Each month a different author is selected for discussion. No one particular book or story is chosen, rather it is an examination of the writer's entire body of work. S F A B C Director Philip De Parto usually leads the discussions, although he has passed the gavel when someone with a better knowledge of a given writer is present.

The group went on hiatus for a five month stretch at the end of 1996 to allow for some fine tuning of the activity.
