Mind as Force of Nature

Taoists teach that all things in the universe are a manifestation of the primordial energy of the Tao. Thus it follows that within the microcosm of the subtle body is the macrocosm of the universe.

Black calligraphic strokes over palest turquoise blue
Black-Made up of and combining the energy of all colors, "cool heat"
Strong powerful strokes like the waves of the sea
Brain made of mostly water. Water essence of the Tao
Water can be crystal clear blue, or at its deepest, ink black
Bright sparkling ideas burst forth like bubbles out of the darkness
Thoughts wash over us like waves
Sometimes gently, sometimes suddenly and overwhelmingly like a tsunami
Thoughts spark and generate other thoughts in unstoppable, disorganized sequence
Ideas can be thrilling, uncontainable and spew forth like a volcano erupting
Thoughts collide or collude with outside ideas, generating new directions or detours
Ideas like nature have birth, growth, death, rebirth, transformation, and evolution
The mind at times seems draped with a heavy dark velvet curtain
At other times with layers of subtle diaphanous veils
It can cover or obscure the truth or be the ground for truth to emerge
