A ll right, I know. You're thinking, "Another Web designer. Yawn. There are millions of these guys out there, each one claiming to be better than the rest. Don't they know that buying a book on HTML doesn't qualify them to set up shop as designers? I need someone who can make me and my business stand out from the cybercrowd, someone who thinks outside the lines." Well, look no further. You've come to the right place.
I 'm not going to insult your intelligence blathering on about how pretty my pages look. You can find that out for yourself. I'd rather tell you about my philosophy of designing for the Web. It's a challenging medium, and the designer doesn't have full control over the end product. Therefore, a skilled Web designer must take into account
  • the appearance of the page in suboptimal situations (old browser, no images, strange color palette, etc.),
  • the strain on the viewer's resources (disk space, memory, processor speed, etc.),
  • the fact that the person viewing the page should be able to count on a page loading in 15 seconds or less.

When I design your website, you can rest assured that these have all been taken care of. You know your site will load quickly and look good in any browser.

I f you'd like to see these principles in action, take a look at my http://www.marnen.org/">personal site. Change some of your browser's display settings (fonts, colors,...), then look again. See how robust it is? If you'd like your website to look this good under adverse conditions, contact me today for a free consultation. With my in-depth knowledge of the Web and Thunderbird's proven record of customer satisfaction, how can you go wrong?
