These lessons ease the kindergarten age child into the disciplines of music study. Drums, blocks, gons, triangles, etc. are used to introduce pulse, rhythm,tone and ensemble in a musically pleasurable setting. There will be a special focus on playing recorders as well as various barred instruments (xylophone), both individually and as a group. Basic musical concepts such as tempo, dynamics, rhythm and notation will also be introduced through fun, interactive, musical activities (six to eight students)

II. Rudimentary Keyboard class (ages 5-7).
Basic keyboard playing and music reading are explored , including early ear training and music theory. These young students are also encouraged to express themselves through rhythmic play, musical games, expressive movement, and echo and independent singing. This class also prepares the student for private piano lessons.

III. Eurythmic Classes (age level groups 5 to 7).
In this class the students learn the connection between musical rhythms and the natural movement of the body. The method is useful with children of all age, since it correspondes with their natural desire to sing, dance, and clap out rhythms while moving to music in a joyful manner. "Dalcroze Eurhthmics" is divided into three sections: Eurythmics, Solfeve, and Improvisation, and was developed by the Swiss pedagogue Emile Jaques-Dalcroze. (4-6 students)

Vocal ensemble for those who love to sing. The objective of the class is to develop musicianship skills and a love of singing through enjoyable experiences. V. Guitar Class (ages 8 and up)
In this class, students learn beginning guitar in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. Students will learn the basic chords and chord variations as well as a variety of rhythmic strum patterns, folk picks and simple melodies. They will learn to play in a band-like setting varying their melody and rhythm by playing with each other and the teacher. By the end of session, students will be playing a variety of basic songs including traditional folk favorites, rock, and blues. (three to four students)
