RALPH'S WORLD
Hi, and
welcome to Ralph's World! This page is dedicated to the
best dog in the whole world!! Ralph was born June 20, 1975,
and his silly human parents, send him to the Humane Society puppy
pound. (They had no clue what they were giving up!
Fortunately, for me!) He was adopted by us and ours
lives have not been the same since. Ralph started out a
little bratty, as most kids do. I guess that he was used to
sleeping with all those pups in the pound. Because, when we
put him in the bathroom at night, he would bark and cry. He
didn't like being alone, because he is a people dog. He
didn't care if you were vacuming the car, or just getting the
mail out of the mailbox. He just wanted to be with you no
matter what.
Ralph
didn't like having to do doggy tricks, like giving paws, or
rolling over. But, he soon became a master of these tricks
and learned to love them. Ralph was a lover and not a
fighter and got along well with all animals, including the
annoying cat! In 1995 Ralph got squamous cell cancer of the
neck and underwent surgery. I thought that this would be the end
of the cancer, but a few months later it regrew and was
worse. Ralph began to lose weight and his appetite and it
broke my heart. Ralph will always be in our hearts and
minds.
