Recording Services – Digital Mastering and Mixing

We are capable of complete mix-downs,

• to which we can add equalization, compression, pitch control, reverb, and FFT (Fast Fourier Transform) analysis and filtering. We can condition rough starts or endings to fade-ins or fade-outs, remove glitches and so on. This can give each track the professional "shine" and clarity musicians demand.

We are capable of digital mastering

• that is to say, using either this mix-down or a recording already in your possesion, we can produce a correctly sequenced "red-book" master that can be sent to any manufacturer. A further specialty is our capablity of taking old recordings and breathing new life into them. Our work with field recordings has given us special insight into working with older recordings and the associated problems that often appear with them.

Costs

• Most mastering studios (which rarely offer mix down capabilty) cost between $100-$125 per hour. We stay under those rates, contact rgamusic at bestweb.net for our rates. Please specify what format(s) (ADAT, CD, cassette, reel to reel) are available for these recordings.

Complete Guidance to finished product

• We can provide full graphic, printing and CD manufacturing services. You would end up with a finished product delivered directly to your door. Let us know if you need this service.
