Studio Recording Services
We are geared towards recording acoustic music
such as old-time, folk and bluegrass music onto a maximum of eight
discrete channels. These 8-channels can then be mixed down using
professional software (see digital mastering in the on-site recording
page). We can record electrified instruments, such as keyboard,
electric bass or guitar using a direct plug-in through our direct
boxes. We have recorded semi-electric folk forms such as Zydeco
extremely well, but prefer not to go beyond into full electronic
forms of music such as rock n' Roll.
Costs
- We charge less than standard metropolitan commercial studios,
which commonly cost anywhere from $100 - $150 per hour. We are
also capable of full start-to-finish service. Contact rgamusic
at bestweb.net, specify your needs and we will give an
hourly price figure.
Location
- We can work either "in studio" (located 30 miles north
NYC) or On-Site.
